Medical Device Assembler – 2nd Shift

Location: Irvine, CA – Onsite
Pay Rate: $19.75/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Position Type: Non-Exempt

Job Summary

Work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment producing high-quality medical devices. You will assemble, repair, and test small medical device components while following strict quality, safety, and FDA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, and test medical device components and catheter assemblies.
• Follow detailed written and verbal work instructions.
• Work with small parts and components, including using a microscope .
• Maintain accurate written and electronic documentation for part traceability.
• Follow FDA, quality, safety, and cleanroom requirements.
• Communicate problems, ideas, and solutions clearly.
• Perform repetitive hand movements such as grabbing, pinching, pulling, and twisting.
• Sit or stand for extended periods.
• Work under close supervision with assignments regularly reviewed.

Preferred Experience

• Medical device or manual assembly experience.
• Assembly using tools under a microscope.
• Hand soldering.
• Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
• Experience completing written and electronic production documentation.

Cleanroom Dress Code

Candidates must follow strict cleanroom clothing and gowning requirements:

• Wear clean, non-shedding clothing with no loose threads, frayed edges, glitter, sequins, tassels, or fleece.
• Clothing must fit underneath the required lab coat/gown.
• Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required.
• No sandals, clogs, slippers, or open shoes.
• Socks or stockings are required.
• Legs, torso, and upper arms must be covered.
• No sleeveless tops or short shirts.
• No nail polish, acrylic, or artificial nails.
• Jewelry or piercings that could damage gloves or cannot be covered are not allowed.
• No makeup.
• No scented personal products other than deodorant.
• Hats, scarves, bandanas, or caps cannot be worn under the bouffant unless they meet approved cleanroom requirements.
• Any open or bleeding wounds must be covered with a bandage.

Important: Candidates must be comfortable working in a strict cleanroom environment and following detailed gowning, safety, quality, and FDA procedures.
